Imagine wooden sailing boats thousands of years ago carrying cargoes of wine and copper across the Aegean to trade with ancient civilisations, or fishing boats earning a living from the Mediterranean teeming with fish. Such boats were built along the Aegean coast of Turkey and many of the skills and designs used then have been passed down to today's boat builders. The Turkish gulet is very similar to the working boats of old times and, equipped with engines and modern facilities, they allow you explore the beautiful Turkish Coast in style and relive the spirit of bygone days. 

Our gulets are from 14-28 meters long and are also very wide, so there is plenty of space below for large cabins, and above for you to sunbathe, sit under the shade of a sun awning and eat comfortably around a spacious dining table on aft deck. What could be more relaxing than cruising on a traditional wooden boat with ample time to visit historical sites or anchor in secluded bays to snorkel and enjoy the underwater wonders that Turkey has to offer! 

You could spend a year cruising Turkey's south eastern coast from Kusadasi to Antalya and still not see everything, but which ever itinerary you choose there will be plenty of time to relax and explore, cruising for no more than 4-5 hours daily with stops for swimming and long leisurely lunches. We make use of a lot of fresh vegetables, such as aubergine, zucchini, tomatoes and cucumber, often mixed with yoghurt and garlic and served with excellent fish caught locally. Other dishes include lamb, chicken and beef marinated in local spices and grilled on skewers. Food is prepared to individual tastes to make sure every meal is an enjoyable one.
